I have known and loved the wines made at this iconic winery ever since my buddy Bob Foley started making them back in 1992. They have racked up countless top scores and accolades over the years, including back to back 100 Point Scores from the Wine Advocate for the 2012 & 2013 Reserve Cabernets.
The combination of the superb quality in the bottle in the 2021 vintage and the price earns this gem a 98 Point Cree Value score. Stock up now while it lasts!
Pride sits atop Spring Mountain and straddles the Sonoma and Napa County line, with fruit for this plush, delicious wine sourced from fruit grown on both sides. From the outstanding 2021 vintage, this is a wine you can enjoy now with decanting or opening an hour or so in advance, and for a decade at least to come!
“Deep, opaque ruby in the glass, this powerfully structured Cabernet displays aromas of baked earth, black plum and dry cocoa on the nose. The palate is plush and richly tannic, with flavors of dried cranberry, dusty black cherry, pencil shavings and caramel. This should round into form nicely with a few years in the cellar."
