This incredible Napa Cabernet has been sold out since we sold the last bottle months ago, one of our favorites of the vintage (and Jeb Dunnuck and the press’ as well!). But when I asked about our allocations for the 2020s I was saddened to hear that there would be no wine at all from this great producer due to the devastating fires that summer.

But low and behold my supplier emailed yesterday and Tony Biaggi has dug deep into the cellars and offered us another handful of cases of his magnificent 2019 Oakville Ranch Cabernet.

What more can we say about these stunning new releases from Tony Biagi that the top critics haven’t already covered? Get in on this top Napa wine now before it’s gone, cellar it for a few years, and then enjoy it for a decade and more! Cheers! Chris

Vinous: 95-98 Points

"The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Ranch is a stunning wine. Dark, virile and imposing, the 2019 packs so much energy and complexity into its mid-weight frame. Generous dollops of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot add layers of dimension. The 2019 is hugely promising. I can't wait to taste it from bottle next year."

Jeb Dunnuck: 94 Points

Rated 94 Jeb Dunnuck - “I loved all these latest releases from Patria. Starting with the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Ranch, which might be the best Napa Cabernet under $100, it has terrific red and black fruits as well as notes of crushed stone, herbes de Provence, spice, and violets. Rich, medium to full-bodied, beautifully balanced, and already impossible to resist, it's ideal for drinking any time over the coming 15 years or so.”

Wine Advocate: 94-96 Points

"The 2019 Oakville Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon is composed of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple in color, it comes skipping out of the glass with bright, cheery scents of blackcurrant jelly, kirsch and wild blueberries, followed by nuances of fragrant earth, pencil lead and lavender. The full-bodied palate has a firm, grainy texture and bags of freshness supporting the generous fruit, finishing long with mineral and earth sparks. 590 cases are due to be made."
