99 Point Cree Wine Value Score - “Once again winemaker Britt Nichols has used her incredible experience and connections gained while growing up a Napa native and then working with some of the best wineries and winemakers in the Valley to craft a deliciously affordable Cabernet from the great 2023 vintage.
While the sources of the grapes for this wine are strictly confidential, we can say they come from prime rocky hillside vineyards near St Helena, just northwest of Lake Hennessey.
Why confidential you ask? Because wines from the vineyards where this comes from sell for a lot more than this little gem, and the owners don’t want you to know!
All dry-farmed, Napa-Green Certified vines that produce compact bunches of tiny, thick-skinned berries, typically destined for well known wines that sell for 5-6 times the price.
This is loaded with lovely dark fruit, rich and layered - and quite frankly amazingly complex - with balanced tannins, and serious concentration and depth well beyond its very low price.”
Don’t miss out on a tremendous value Cabernet that you can drink now with grilled chicken, pork chops, classic BBQ, burgers, and steaks all summer long - and for 5-6 years to come!” Cheers! Chris Cree, Master of Wine
