I have been selling the wines of Château Turcaud for as long as can remember and to this day they produce one of the best buys in white Bordeaux / Entre Deux Mers on the market. Crisp and clean, with lovely citrus and white flowers on the nose that follow through on the focused, bright and lively palate. perfect for all kinds of seafood, sushi, crudo, tartare, ceviche, oysters, shrimp, sushi and so much more. Even better, it's barely budged in price over the decade I have sold it, and it remains an exceptional value! It's a blend of 50% Sauvignon (1/3 of which is the rare Sauvignon Gris) 45% Sémillon, and 5% Muscadelle, fermented in stainless steel.
Vineyard Area: In the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers AOC between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, 35 km east of the city of Bordeaux and 20 km south of Saint Émilion
Soil: Silt with gravel and some clay deposits
