Montevertine speaks fluently the authentic Tuscan language of purity and subtle austerity, and at the same time forms the reference for the generosity and freshness so typical of Sangiovese in Radda. On the nose, plenty of dark red fruits, some lavender, leather, sweet pipe tobacco, liquorice and earthy notes that develop nicely with further aeration, offering a taste of what awaits those who can wait. Complex as it goes on, multi-dimensional with floral notes, opening up further and further, long on the finish. A stunning drop that is hardly inferior to the flagship Le Pergole Torte. 

Blackcurrant on the nose, with a hint of quinotto and a touch of clementine peel, very juicy on the palate, with a return of the fruit component and tannins perfectly integrated into the body. Very long lasting.
