One of my favorite Rosé wines every year arrives today, just as spring seems to have finally kicked into full gear! I have been selling this fantastic rosé every year since I can remember, and it has earned a spot on my top five list of favorite rosés each year. The catch is that while many of my favorites are feteching $30 to $40 and more, this wine has stubbornly (and thankfully!) remained well under $25, an amazing feat in these days of spiraling wine prices.
Pale salmon/pink hue, lovely aromas of delicate red cherry, melon, mango, and guava, with a savory herb note and fresh lively fruit on the palate. It’s dry with balancing minerality and acidity from mouth watering start to finish. It’s is an essential wine for spring and the first of our hit parade of top Rosé wines from France. Mark your calendar for our annual Rosé tasting May 10th - details coming soon!
