Weingut Geierslay, situated on the steep banks of Mosel, is run by the Kilburg family, one the Mosel's oldest winemaking families. The estate was established in 1465 and has seen 19 generations of winemakers, the current being Max Kilburg.
Geierslay's Vertigo Riesling Feinherb is beautifully aromatic with gorgeous aromas of stone fruits. This is a fun and energetic wine. The palate is full of flavors including white peach and apricot, with light citrus zest. The slight off-dry flavors are balanced perfectly with a zippy acidity that will get you going right back for another sip. This is an ideal wine to start the evening... Great as an aperitif, but also will work well with hors d'oeuvres.
