In 2023 we bottled the tenth vintage of Florpower (MMXXII, that is, 2022), with number 119 of the LA BOTA series. La Bota de Florpower 119 MMXXII, an unfortified white wine…With this 2022 vintage we continue to search for what we believe is a point of balance and freshness for a perfect expression of the vine through the biological aging process, which is shorter than in the pioneering vintages. In this vintage we have dispensed with resting and tenuous aging under flor in steel tanks after intense biological aging in traditional 600-litre Jerez casks.
Coming 100% from Palomino Fino grapes from a Sanlúcar vineyard with vines between 55 and 85 years old located in Pago Miraflores La Baja, in this 2022 vintage the wine fermented in the same casks in which it later aged under a veil for eight months until it is removed and bottled at the end of May 2023.
