Jean Paul Brun is located in Charnay, a village in the Southern Beaujolais just north of Lyon, in a beautiful area known as the "Terres Dorées" or Region of Golden Stones. Brun is the owner and winemaker at this 60+ hectare. Lovely dark cherry fruits, moderate tannins, and a warm long finish.
Pairing: Similar to the other Beaujolais’ above, this is perfect with lighter meats such as pork or veal, think red Burgundy in terms of style, and a natural with game birds, roasted chicken and your Thanksgiving dinner!
