Intense graphite, cassis and violet character with lead pencil. It’s full and firm with chewy and balanced tannins. Very intense. Pauillac de Pichon reveals black fruit, dark red fruits, pepper & spice notes. On the palate, it starts smooth and direct leading to a mineral finish. Fresh & precise, this can be enjoyed now. The wine produced here was classified as one of fifteen Deuxièmes Crus (Second Growths) in the original Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855.
