A blend of 75% Syrah and 25% Grenache from Costieres de Nimes, just southwest of Tavel and Lirac in the Southern Rhone. A landscape reminiscent of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, with large, round stones strewn about by the Rhone river, Costieres de Nimes is soaked in Mediterranean sunlight and perfect for ripening these grapes.
Aromas of crushed raspberries with a smattering of iron and dried herbs. Densely textured with tart cranberries contrasting darker tones of blueberry compote and acai berry on the palate and boosted in complexity by undertones of cracked black pepper and pine sap. Lush on the palate with medium grained tannin and sapid finish. Certified Sustainable Farming.
