This really impressed us: bruised strawberries, balsamic, roses, violets, tar and dried herbs w/ soft tannins and palate-cleansing acidity. Pair with veal, duck, grilled red meats, charcuterie, semi-hard to hard cheeses, and eggplant. We love this wine and know you will too!
The 2018 Barolo Massara is impressive. Wild cherry, rose petal, mint, dried herbs, orange peel and exotic spice notes abound. This layered Barolo is superb and also distinctive.
