Bourcier-Martinot Description
Childhood friends and brothers-in-law Jean-Luc Terrier and Christian Collovray were the duo responsible for the Bourcier-Martinot label, which they established especially for us at their Domaine des Deux Roches in the Maconnais village of Davayé. Today, next generation Julien Collavray and Pierre-Alexis Terrier work alongside Jean-Luc and Christian at the estate.
Sourrounded on various sides by the geologic giants of Mount Pouilly and the limestone escarpments known as Solutré and Vergisson, the vineyards benefit from stony soils, southern exposure, and a mild climate, which together make for ideal growing conditions.
The Macon AOC and Saint-Véran wines are marked by freshness and charm, and they are among the greatest values in the region!
