Benriach - The Original Ten Three Cask Matured 10yr Single Malt Whisky

Benriach is a hidden gem within Speyside, the area famous for The Macallan, Glenlivet and many others. The Original Ten series encapsulates the signature smooth and multi-layered character of Benriach, but the Three Cask Matured goes a step further, with complexity and layers of flavor from its ten years spent aging in barrel and cask.

The Benraich Ten Year Triple is created by Master Blender Rachel Barrie, a 28-year veteran in the whisky industry working for Glenmorangie, Ardbeg, and Bowmore, who now works with GlenDronach, Benriach & Glenglassaugh where she crafts incredible aged whiskies.

This version from Benriach is matured for at least ten years in bourbon barrels, sherry casks, and virgin oak, and shows layers of luscious orchard fruit, honeyed malt, and toasted oak - all interwoven with a subtle trace of smoke. Bottled at 43% alcohol with all-natural cask-imparted color, there is a light trace of ripe pear, shaved almond & spiced vanilla.
