Cimarron - Reposado Tequila

This is one of the best Tequila's on the market for the price and has been a staple in my house for about a decade. Great quality and sip-worthy without buying the farm with notes of roasted pineapple, agave, citrus, light oak and lime. Highly Recommended

Cimarron Tequila from Atotonilco, Jalisco is distilled from agave hillside agave grown at 4,620' elevation, where plant sugars reach an average of 24-26° Brix (sugar level). A low-pressure, slow agave roast creates Cimarron’s bright, forward flavor, and fermentation is entirely natural using winemakers' yeast. The reposado expression is aged in American white oak for 4 months.

Aged a mere 60 days “to mellow,” this reposado is lean rather than lush. Zesty aromas suggest sun-ripened tomato, lemon peel and roasted jalapeno. The palate opens with flecks of rubber, graphite and dried herbs, finishing brisk with a lemon-pepper exhale. Best Buy
