This is the first look at the 2023 vintage, and it bodes well. With intense stone fruit aromas mixed in with a bit of citrus notes, this wine starts off correctly. And the best part is the incredible richness and finish when you take a sip. All in all, it augers well for the 2023 wines to come!
Giuliano, a traditional Friulian blend of 6 different varietals, is a wine of amazing complexity. It begins with hints of honeysuckle, jasmine, lemon meringue and the high tone of muscat on the nose. The mouth presents flavors of fresh squeezed lime and round rich mouthfeel. It tails beautifully with lingering flavors that promise to accompany an evening on the deck eating the fresh bounties of summer. As always extremely limited...
